Comment automations
A comment is a raised hand. When someone comments your keyword, Attribura turns that into a delivered tracked link — a DM funnel on Instagram, a public reply on YouTube — so the sale it drives traces straight back to the post. Set them up on Automations.
How a rule fires
- You pick a trigger keyword (e.g.
LINK) — case-insensitive. - You scope it to all posts on the account or one specific post.
- A viewer comments the keyword → the rule runs and hands them your tracked link, keeping the raw URL out of the public comment.
Instagram — DM funnel
Instagram gets a multi-step DM funnel. The opener is the first DM and carries a tap-to-confirm button; each tap opens the messaging window so the next step — with your link — is allowed to send. Optionally post a public replyunder the comment first (“Check your DMs! 📩”) so onlookers see it working.
A link button can be:
/l/ short link that logs the tap.Save the rule, then hit Test on its card to dry-run a real comment through the engine — no Meta calls, exactly what would be sent.
YouTube — public reply
YouTube has no DM API, so the rule auto-posts one public reply under matching comments instead. Keep the link outof the reply (“The link's in the description 👇”): a raw link sprayed across comments is a spam signal, so you point people to the tracked link already in your description. Replies fire on the daily sync, on recent comments, capped per run.
Tracking link in the description
The toggle that makes “the link's in the description” actually true. Turn it on and Attribura auto-appends each video's trackable App Store link to its description on every sync — so installs trace back to the video with zero manual work. It's never duplicated, added gradually, and off by default because it edits your published videos.
